Somatic Ecstatic Dance is a guided dance journey with curated soundscapes to deepen connection to the divine within, exploring themes relating both to the body & elemental forces. An offering to meet inner thresholds & expand capacity to meet life as it is now. A dance journey of wonder & depth, awakening the body to rhythm, pleasure & honesty. In these dances we let the body express, finding more of its untamed wild nature, its authentic self, connecting to our innate wholeness
Autumn is a time of deep creative remembrance in which we honour life & death
The body longs to be embraced by the one that inhabits its being. Divine essence waiting to be embedded into aliveness through flesh, potentiality bursting with ripeness. Ready to be eaten in recognition. Understanding this call home to being, to body, allows our untamed nature to play with Eros, life’s beckoning. Dance as a prayer, as a ritual is & always will be a portal for this kind of presence to be awoken within you, Its magnitude willing to engulf whoever dances, the dance becoming a powerful place for both life to be integrated into embodiment & restoring faith, resilience & wonder
Body as bridge, body as instrument, body as LOVER
In these times of devastation & unrest dance can be an anchor, a support system, a practice to let all that stirs within you to be moved, given to our fertile mother earth to be transmuted into ash, soil & vegetation. When we dance in ritual to align with the cyclical stories of the lands we rebel against the system of oppression, dance in this way is an act of rebellion. Dance truly is a compass, a being of great wisdom that guides us to deepen our connection to the blossoming of living forces within us. This practice offers us the continued opportunity to surrender into broader forms of acceptance for what’s taking place while strengthening our spines integrity to rise into right action. This dance is fierce, it’s unapologetic & it’s a mirror being held for our seeing

Meeting every week on ZOOM on Wednesday evenings throughout October to dive into our precious BODIES - LIVE 5.30pm - 7.30pm UK 6.30pm - 8.30pm CET
