SONGS

OF THE

DEEP

A DOLPHIN PILGRIMAGE INTO THE LIVING WATERS OF SATAYA REEF

Egypt, Red Sea — Oct 31 - Nov 7 2026

"Be wild — that is how to clear the river…Then the river will flow, then we can stand in the stream of it raining down"

Clarissa Pinkola Estés

THE JOURNEY

SEVEN DAYS OF DEVOTION

Songs of the Deep is a heart offering — born from a lifelong relationship with dolphins' ethereal ways & water's miraculous intelligence. A call to know the medicine of the great blue as antidote to today's disenchantment.

Bowing in remembrance of our aquatic nature, beckoned by the living waters of the Red Sea, we return to LOVE, WONDER & JOY — enthusiastically embraced by Mother Nature's undeniable presence. This journey is a return to our very first language. A call for union. A unique way to pilgrimage —

We are calling in an intimate group of practitioners, explorers & artists who are ready to expand their practice from self & body to waterscapes & dolphin encounters. Welcoming all those who desire to learn freediving skills, develop confidence in the water & encounter some of the most majestic creatures of all time.

No prior experience in freediving or ocean practice is required. A journey of reciprocity & relational capacity, gently guided — with space to meet your courage with care & support.

DOLPHINS
& THE SATAYA REEF

EMISSARIES OF THE RED SEA

Our field of experience will take place in the Sataya reef, a vibrant ecosystem of color, texture & intricate life that will be our living sanctuary for the week, where wild dolphins regularly come to rest, move & play.

Learning the ecology of these beings, their ways, their patterns, their needs, is foundational to our time together.

How to approach without intrusion. How to witness without grasping.

How to be in communication without imposing.

We are not here to seek or to chase, but to ATTUNE, to meet them in a shared field of awareness that is spacious, gentle & respectful.

As we enter their world & hear their songs, we do so with REVERENCE — offering gratitude for the rare privilege of being in proximity to such magical beings.

Songs of The Deep speaks to this call
a quiet, persistent song that lives beneath the noise

It is the call of the Ocean inviting us back into belonging.

Back into relationship with what is vast, intelligent, and interconnected

A remembering of our place

on the blue planet

Echoing through water, through body, through memory

Something ancient stirs
Something softens
Something opens

OUR HOME

AT SEA

For the week, we will live aboard a spacious yacht anchored at Sataya Reef. With multiple decks and generous communal areas, the boat offers both togetherness and solitude. Cabins are comfortable and air-conditioned, each with bathroom facilities, shared or private. Most are twin-share, with a limited number of private double cabins available. For those who wish, sleeping under the open sky on deck is always an option

The main salon serves as our dining and integration space, while shaded decks and open-air levels provide room for movement practices, meditation, rest, conversation, or solitude

A professional crew ensures safety, navigation, and daily care throughout the journey. Freshly prepared meals are served three times per day, with fruit, snacks, tea, coffee, and water available at all times. The cuisine is varied and nourishing, with vegetarian options always included. No alcohol is served on board

Once we leave the mainland, phone reception becomes limited — offering a rare opportunity to disconnect from the rest of the world and fully inhabit the rhythm of sea & sky. We will invite you into a full disconnection from your phone during this journey

Throughout the week, the vessel becomes our home — a place to land, reset, integrate and live in intimate relationship with the surrounding waters

DAILY RHYTHMS

LISTENING TO
SATAYA'S VOICE

This unique voyage will ask us to surrender to the ways of the water, the wind’s motion & the turning of light. Each day rising with the sun & musing with nourishment at dusk. The days will form themselves as we commit to being present with what’s required in each moment, listening to the dolphins & their rhythms, paying attention to our creative surges while being together.

Zodiacs will take us to join dolphins in the water when conditions allow; it’s very likely this will be at least twice per day. We will remain respectful & sensitive to the vibrational field of the dolphins & honour their home at all times. This may mean there are moments when we must observe from the boat — we will respond with deep respect.

This is a playful, intimate exploration of presencing with waterscapes on & off the boat, relating to inner & outer landscapes, immersed in the Red Sea of Sataya, moving at a gentle pace, without distractions.

There will be no Wi-Fi aboard, & plenty of time for being alone, building relationships with each other & the dolphins, reading, writing, sun-soaking, dancing, eating & singing, with time for group sharings.

There will be a flow guiding & holding us all as we meet the magic of the living sea — as well as somatic practices anchored daily to support our embodiment, integrating our time in the water & opening to our inner oceans

PRACTICES

OF BEING

We will be supported by embodiment practices, art therapy & breathwork — not to complicate our experiences, but to soften us into a more surrendered state, becoming available to receive all the wonder & joy possible when meeting dolphin medicine.

This immersion has a force of its own, so our practices will act as a river flowing toward the ocean — meeting the water is what will enliven us all into creative alignment the most

FREEDIVING & AIDA CERTIFICATION

Using the body as guide & the ocean as mirror, we will discover how freediving — apnea in the water — can be a tool for nervous system regulation & self-attunement. Through this practice, we give time for self- exploration, in nature, as nature. Using the breath & the breath-hold, we will tend to our unique individual edges & to the subtle sensing of our highly intelligent bodies, as we learn to soften, surrender & develop deep self-trust.

An AIDA 1 certification is included for all participants, with the opportunity to deepen into an AIDA 2 for those who feel called to go further.

FAQ

Do I need freediving or diving experience? No prior experience is required. We welcome beginners & those with experience alike. The AIDA 1 certification is part of the experience we propose.

Will I definitely swim with dolphins? Dolphins are wild & free creatures, they choose where they stay & whether they interact with humans or not. We have chosen Sataya Reef precisely because spinner dolphins regularly come to rest & play there. Encounters are highly likely to happen, often twice daily, but we approach this as an experience of reciprocity, moving towards them with reverence & without grasping. Their rhythms will be ours & we will let them teach us what is needed at each moment.

Who is this journey for? If you feel the Call deep within you, we welcome you. Practitioners, creatives, dancers, facilitators, therapists & explorers — those already on an embodied path & drawn to nature, water & depth, as well as those who've lost touch with their inner joy & inner peace due to the intensity of modern life. We welcome all those longing for deep rest & reset of the nervous system as well as those longing for an awakening of their sense of wonder & play. This experience will inspire & transform us all, in ways we cannot yet understand. The group size is intimate, with an application-based selection to support a coherent & adapted group field

How do I get to the boat? Marsa Alam (RMF) is the closest international airport. Hurghada (HRG) is the second closest. Airport-to-boat transfers from both airports are included on the day of arrival & departure. We'll send detailed travel guidance after your booking is confirmed.

What about food, allergies & dietary needs? We serve three freshly prepared meals per day, with vegetarian options always included. Tell us your allergies & preferences on the application form when you book — the kitchen accommodates most needs with notice

When do I arrive at the boat & when do I leave? Arrival — Saturday October 31st: check-in opens at 3:00 PM, when the crew has finished preparing the boat. You're welcome to arrive earlier if your flight schedule requires it, though cabins won't be ready yet. Departure — Saturday November 7th: check-out is by 10:00 AM. Plan your return flight for the late afternoon or evening — or, ideally, stay one extra night in a hotel before flying home. A strong recommendation from us: arrive one day before the journey begins (Friday Oct 30th). The Red Sea is far from everything — if you can, give yourself the gift of arriving rested & departing without rush.

Is the boat safe? Who runs it? The boat is operated by Infinity Diving Safari, a long-established Red Sea charter company with full crew, captain, dive guides & all marine permits. Safety, navigation & daily care are professionally held throughout the journey.

Can I bring my partner / a friend? Yes — choose the shared double cabin option (€1,850 pp early bird), which is designed for two people travelling together.

How do I pay the deposit? Once we've received your application form, you will receive an email with all the information about payment within 3-5 days.

What's the cancellation policy? The 600€ deposit is non-refundable. Full cancellation terms are sent with your booking confirmation.
